Lake Como wedding photographer & videographer
Lake Como is about an hour from our base in Milan, which makes it the destination we reach most easily: no flights and short transfers for the crew.
We photograph and film your wedding with two lenses working together, one for the stills and one for the film, from the preparations in the villa to the party by the water.

Lake Como
Why couples choose Lake Como
Villas on the water
Gardens that run down to the lake, stone terraces and private docks: the setting does half the work, and our job is to use it without turning the day into a photo shoot.
Arrivals by boat
Many Lake Como weddings move guests by boat between hotel, ceremony and dinner. It is one of the most cinematic moments of the day, and it needs to be planned: one of us on the dock, one on board or at the arrival point.
Mountain light
The lake sits between mountains, so on some shores the sun disappears behind the ridge before the official sunset. We check the orientation of your venue and place the portraits in the right window.
Planning notes
Lake Como, seen from behind the camera
- 01
A civil ceremony is legally valid in Italy only in a place authorised by the local comune. Many couples hold a symbolic ceremony at the villa and sign the papers separately: your planner will confirm what applies to your venue.
- 02
Tell us the boat schedule early. Filming an arrival from the dock and from on board are two different setups.
- 03
Summer afternoons on the lake can bring sudden storms. A covered plan B for the ceremony also changes where we shoot the portraits, so we like to know it in advance.
- 04
Keep 20 to 30 minutes free for portraits around golden hour. On the lake that light is beautiful and short.
How we cover your day
The owners behind the camera, their team around them
VT Weddings is the wedding studio of Visual Twins, the Milan-based production company of twin brothers Magdi and Yousef Soliman. They shoot your wedding themselves, one on the photographs and one on the film, with the team the day calls for: three to five professionals, depending on the collection. Documentary rather than directed, and we deliver previews, social reels, the full gallery and a cinematic wedding film. On request, a handmade album bound in Italy, and a personal photo collection delivered to every guest.

Questions about Lake Como
How far is Lake Como from you?
Our studio is in Milan, about an hour from the southern end of the lake. Villages further up the lake, such as Bellagio or Tremezzo, take longer to reach, and we plan the day around that.
Can you film boat arrivals and transfers between venues?
Yes. With the schedule in advance, the photographer and the filmmaker split up so that one captures the departure or the dock and the other the arrival.
How is travel handled, and what does it cost?
Photography or film alone, covered by the two of us who own the studio, starts at 5,000 EUR; the collections, where we bring the team and shoot both, start at 10,000 EUR. Travel and accommodation are quoted on top. Which one fits depends on how long the day is and how many professionals it needs, and we send the proposal within 24 hours of our call.
Other destinations
We also cover weddings in Portofino, Rome, Puglia, Taormina and abroad.
